Joe Crowley

Biography

Joseph Crowley is a former U.S. Representative from New York's 14th congressional district, serving from 1999 to 2019. He previously held roles as Chair of the House Democratic Caucus and Queens County Democratic Party local chairman, and served in the New York State Assembly from 1987 to 1998. Crowley was defeated in the 2018 midterm elections by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. He is known for his appearance in the documentary "Knock Down the House" (2019).
