Roman Skamene is a Czech actor born on October 2, 1954, in Planá. He gained recognition for his role as Fryc in the 1975 film "Hotel Pacific". In other notable roles, he portrayed the dual character of Prince and the Swede in a TV adaptation of Mark Twain's classic novel, and played a choleristic officer in the film "Tankový prapor" based on Josef Škvorecký's novel.
