Sylvain Tesson
Biography
Sylvain Tesson is a French writer and traveller born in Paris on April 26, 1972. He has led numerous unusual expeditions, including a six-month solo stay in a Siberian cabin for The Consolations of the Forest (2011) and a quest for snow leopards in Tibet, which won him the Prix Renaudot for The Art of Patience (2019). A geographer by background, Tesson's travels have inspired several books and films.
