Biography

François Chaignaud is a French dancer, choreographer, singer, and writer, born in 1983 in Rennes. He co-founded the Vlovajob Pru company with Cecilia Bengolea in 2007, creating notable works like Pâquerette, Sylphides, and (M)imosa. Chaignaud has collaborated with prominent choreographers, including Boris Charmatz and Emmanuelle Huynh. He currently directs the Centre chorégraphique national de Caen in Normandy, beginning in 2026.
