Eva Braun was a German photographer who met Adolf Hitler at 17 as an assistant and model for his personal photographer in Munich. She began seeing him regularly two years later and became a significant figure within Hitler's inner social circle, eventually marrying him in a brief civil ceremony in April 1945. As Nazi Germany collapsed, Braun remained by Hitler's side until their deaths by suicide just over 40 hours later.
