Omar Abdi

Biography

Omar Abdi is a Finnish-Somali actor and youth counselor who immigrated to Finland at 8 and spent over 20 years working with young people. He began his acting career after meeting director Juho Kuosmanen in a café, and has since appeared in notable films such as "A Tribe Called Love" (2025). Abdi has also relocated to Somaliland, his ancestral homeland, in recent years.
