Egil Hjorth-Jenssen
Biography
Egil Hjorth-Jenssen was a Norwegian actor and theatre director, born in Fredrikshald in 1893, who made his stage debut in 1914 at Stavanger Teater. He went on to chair the Norwegian Actors' Equity Association from 1932 to 1939 and served as theatre director of Den Nationale Scene in Bergen from 1939 to 1946. In film, he appeared in notable roles in "Ung flukt" (1959) and "Bussen" (1961), showcasing his versatility as a performer.
