Wilfred Breistrand was a Norwegian actor and film director who began his career in theater, performing at various Oslo venues from the 1940s to the 1970s. He also had a notable television career, starring in dramas like "Anton" (1973), "Åpenbaringen" (1977), and "Th. F's siste nedtegnelser til almenheten" (1992). Breistrand received an Amanda Award for best actor in 1992 for his role in the television drama based on Kjell Aksels novels, cementing his reputation as a leading Norwegian actor.
