Biography

Robert Blum was a Swiss composer and conductor who began his musical education in Zürich, later studying composition in Berlin with Ferruccio Busoni. He became a prominent figure in Swiss music, teaching at the Musikakademie Zürich from 1943 to 1973 and composing works across various genres. His extensive oeuvre includes orchestral pieces such as "Sinfonie Nr. 3" and "Partita für Orchester".
