Sharon Blynn is an American actress and cancer activist who has been in remission since 2003 after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2000. She founded the organization "Bald is Beautiful" in 2002, expanding social notions of beauty and femininity while raising awareness about ovarian cancer. Blynn has used her platform to promote positive media representation of women with changing bodies.
