Pete Thongchua is a Thai actor and race driver born on June 24, 1968, in California, USA. The son of famous Thai actor Pinyo Thongchua, Pete began his acting career at age eight as co-host of the show "Pao-Ying-shoob," later attending education in the US before returning to Thailand to pursue a career in entertainment. He won the Mekhala award for Best Actor twice, in 1997 and 2000, for dramas "Sor Sam Sai" and "Angkor."
