Shahab Hosseini is a director and actor born in Tehran, Iran in 1974. He has received numerous awards for his performances, including Best Actor at the Fajr Film Festival for "Superstar" and the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for "A Separation". He won the Best Actor Award at Cannes Film Festival for "The Salesman", becoming the first Iranian actor to receive this accolade.
