Biography

Virginia Routh, born on March 27, 1919, in Newark, New Jersey, is a veteran actress with a six-decade career spanning Broadway, film, and television. During World War II, she entertained troops in Africa and Italy as a member of the USO. A prolific performer, Robinson worked extensively in regional theatre and appeared in notable films and daytime dramas, including the long-running series Love of Life.
