Biography

Timothy Sydney Robert Hardy was a renowned English character actor known for his versatility and depth in performances. Born in Cheltenham in 1925, he studied at Oxford University before joining the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon. He is perhaps best remembered for his critically acclaimed portrayals of Winston Churchill in "The Wilderness Years" and Siegfried Farnon in "All Creatures Great and Small," earning a BAFTA nomination for the latter role.
