Biography

H.P. Mendoza is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, and musician known for his micro-budget work on Colma: The Musical (2006), which received the Los Angeles Times Top 20 Best Asian American Films List recognition. His follow-up musical and directorial debut, Fruit Fly (2010), further established his talent. He was inducted into the 2012 Essential SF by San Francisco Film Society for his film I Am a Ghost, and later had his screenplay, Bitter Melon, released by Gravitas Ventures and ABS-CBN.
