Biography

Kathleen Hanna is a pioneer of the feminist punk riot grrrl movement and musician behind Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. In addition to her influential bands, she has also released solo music as Julie Ruin and recorded various zines, art pieces, and photography. Her life was documented in the 2013 film "The Punk Singer," which revealed her battle with Lyme disease. Hanna is married to Beastie Boys member Adam Horovitz.
