Hank Marvin
Biography
Hank Marvin, born Brian Robson Rankin on October 28, 1941, is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist known for his work as lead guitarist for the Shadows. He formed the group in London in 1958 after meeting Johnny Foster, Cliff Richard's manager, at The 2i's Coffee Bar. Marvin's music career took off when he joined the Drifters, backing band for Cliff Richard, playing on iconic tracks like "Wonderful to Be Young!"
