Elisabeth Volkmann was a German actress and comedian born on March 16, 1936, in Essen. She gained recognition for her role as Jolanthe von Scheußlich in the cult series "Klimbim" and later became known for voicing Marge Simpson in the German dub of "The Simpsons." Volkmann's extensive theater training at the Folkwangschule in Essen laid the foundation for her successful career in stage and screen.
