Biography

Dexter Scott King, the son of civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, was a civil rights activist and author. Born on January 30, 1961, he grew up watching over by his older sister Yolanda after his father's assassination in 1968. King went on to write the memoir "Growing Up King: An Intimate Memoir", offering a personal perspective on his family's history.
