Biography

Ario Bayu, born on February 6, 1985, in Jakarta to Javanese parents, has established a career as an Indonesian model and actor. He gained recognition with his roles in Dead Time: Kala, where he played a detective, and Java Heat, opposite Kellan Lutz and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke. Bayu also portrayed Indonesia's founding President Sukarno in the 2013 film Soekarno and reprised the role in Kadet 1947.
