Biography

Jaroslav Mareš was a Czech actor who began his career in the 1940s, initially performing in Prague's Strašnický divadlo and later joining the Aragon ensemble. He transitioned to full-time theatre work after World War II, appearing in various productions at Studio 5. května and the State Film Studio. Mareš spent nearly four decades with the National Theatre company, solidifying his reputation as a versatile performer.
