Biography

A former U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Chris Christie served as governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018. Before his governorship, Christie worked for George W. Bush's 2000 presidential campaign and later became U.S. Attorney, a position he held from 2002 to 2008. He was a Republican candidate for the 2016 and 2024 presidential nominations, and also served as a Morris County commissioner from 1995 to 1997.
