Susan Kingsley

Biography

Susan Kingsley was a talented American actress born to Ballard and Treecy Cardwell in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She studied drama at the University of Kentucky and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before joining Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she won critical acclaim for her roles in Marsha Norman's play Getting Out and The Wake of Jamey Foster. Kingsley's film credits include Coal Miner's Daughter and Popeye.
