Denise Quiñones is a Puerto Rican actress and beauty queen who rose to fame after winning Miss Universe 2001. Prior to her pageant victory, she represented Lares in the Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2001 contest. After relinquishing her title, Quiñones attended an acting conservatory program and has since appeared in notable roles such as Clara in "Locas y Atrapadas" and Doña Rosita in Federico García Lorca's play.
