Athina Rachel Tsangari is a Greek filmmaker born on April 2, 1966, in Athens, Greece. She has established herself with notable films such as The Slow Business of Going (2000), Attenberg (2010), and Chevalier (2015), alongside collaborations with Yorgos Lanthimos. Tsangari has also founded the Cinematexas International Short Film Festival and served as a visiting lecturer at Harvard University's Visual and Environmental Studies department.
