Biography

Akiko Monō is a Japanese actress and model born on April 2, 1976, in Kanagawa, Japan. Her breakthrough role came when Hiroyuki Nakano discovered her in a video clip and cast her in Samurai Fiction, marking her film debut. She has since collaborated with Nakano in Stereo Future and the short film Slow is Beautiful, appearing in notable films such as Tetsuo: The Bullet Man and Lost in Translation.
