She was born in Tokyo and graduated from Asia University Faculty of Business Administration. She is managed by SIS Company. Her blood type is A and she is 158 cm tall. Her hobby is mountaineering. She made her debut in 1979 as a child actress under her real name in the TV series Kusa Moeru.
