Luis Krawen

Biography

Luis August Krawen is a German visual artist whose artistic practice spans theatre, opera, and digital art. Growing up in Berlin, he began as a member of the Volksbühne's young theatre club, P14, before discovering 3D animation at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies. His recent work includes digital projections for Bayreuther Festspiele's "The Ring of the Nibelung" and "Tristan and Isolde", and an upcoming feature-length animated movie, "Planet Magnon".
