Biography

Leon "Lee" Konitz was an American jazz alto saxophonist and composer born in Chicago in 1927. He gained recognition for his distinctive style, exemplified by his improvisational long, melodic lines, and collaborated with notable musicians like Miles Davis and Lennie Tristano.
