Kevin Papatie
Biography
Kevin Papatie is a Canadian filmmaker and director from Kitcisakik, Quebec. He has directed over ten short films, including Wabak-Future, which won Best Experimental Film at the Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival, and The Amendment, which won Best Film Festival in Aboriginal language at ImagineNative. His films are known for their poetic and committed storytelling, and he continues to be a prominent figure in the Wapikoni mobile project, collaborating with local communities and artists.
