Biography

At 17, Matthew Hawkins signed a full-time professional contract, having trained for 10 years. He began his dance education at 10, attending the Royal Ballet School, where he "walked on" as a pageboy in "Giselle" and absorbed the nuances of classical dance. Hawkins later joined the International Course for Choreographers and Composers, where he explored experimentation and critical discourse, fostering a creative approach that would shape his work.
