Biography

Taghi Amirani is an Iranian-born English physicist and documentary filmmaker who made his mark in television. After completing a postgraduate film and television course at the University of Bristol, he produced and directed episodes of Channel 4's Equinox series, including the notable "Earth Calling Basingstoke" in 1989. He also made several dozen 36-minute films for the network. Amirani's work spans multiple genres, showcasing his versatility as a filmmaker.
