Biography

French actor and painter Richard Courcet began his film career in Claire Denis's 1994 drama "J'ai pas sommeil," playing a lead role inspired by the infamous serial killer Thierry Paulin. He continued to collaborate with Denis, reappearing in her films decades later in 2022's "Avec amour et acharnement." After a hiatus from acting to focus on painting and the arts, Courcet made his comeback with Denis once more.
