Jerry Adler

Biography

Jerry Adler was a renowned American theatre director, production supervisor, and actor, born in Brooklyn, New York, to a Jewish observant household. He began his career as a stage manager and production supervisor before making his directing debut with the 1974 Sammy Cahn revue Words and Music. As an actor, Adler is known for his roles in The Sopranos, Mad About You, In Her Shoes, and Manhattan Murder Mystery, among others.
