Biography

Betty Arthur, born Elizabeth Kathryn Leopold on December 6, 1910, in Indianapolis, Indiana, was a talented actress, dancer, and performer. At seven, she captivated Anna Pavlova, a renowned ballerina, who sought to nurture her talent, but ultimately was unable to due to age constraints. Later, Arthur joined Ernest Belcher's dancing troupe in Los Angeles, paving the way for a promising career.
