Biography

Mohammad Najib bin Abdul Razak is a Malaysian politician who served as the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia from 2009 to 2018. He is the son of former prime minister Abdul Razak Hussein and was chairman of the Barisan Nasional coalition and president of the United Malays National Organisation until his coalition's defeat in the 2018 general election. Najib was convicted of corruption in 2020 in one of the largest money-laundering scandals in history.
