Patrick Barclay

Biography

Patrick Barclay was a British journalist and sportswriter born in London in 1947, with a background that includes his education at the High School of Dundee and early reporting stints at The Guardian. He held notable positions, including football correspondent at The Independent, The Observer, and The Sunday Telegraph, before joining The Times as Chief Football Correspondent in 2009. He later moved to the London Evening Standard in 2012.
