Norman Bowler
Biography
Norman Clifford Bowler, born on August 1st, 1932, in London, England, is a retired English actor known for his notable roles. He played Det. Chief Inspector Harry Hawkins in the BBC TV police drama Softly, Softly from 1966 to 1976 and portrayed Frank Tate in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, among other appearances. Bowler also starred in films such as Submarine X-1 (1968) and They Call Me Renegade (1987).
