Daniel Richter is a renowned American mime and actor born in 1939 in Darien, Connecticut. He gained international recognition for his portrayal of Moonwatcher in Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, choreographing the iconic "Dawn of Man" sequence. Richter later appeared alongside John Lennon and Yoko Ono in their 1972 Imagine video and published a memoir about his experiences with the Beatles and ape-watching in London zoo.
