Gered Mankowitz is a photographer and artist, best known for his association with The Rolling Stones, with whom he collaborated on their iconic 1969 album cover. He also directed the 2020 documentary "Days of Rage: the Rolling Stones' Road to Altamont", offering a behind-the-scenes look at the tumultuous period leading up to the Altamont Free Concert. Mankowitz's work continues to be celebrated for its raw, unflinching portrayal of the era.
