Biography

Amel Alzakout is a Syrian-born artist, puppet maker, and filmmaker based in Leipzig. She studied Journalism at Cairo University from 2010 to 2013 and later pursued art at Weißensee Art Academy in Berlin from 2017 to 2018. As a multifaceted creative, Alzakout brings her expertise to various mediums, including voice acting, most notably as the self-narrator in the 2020 film "Purple Sea".
