Biography

Julie Atherton is a British actress, singer, and director, best known for originating the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut in the West End production of Avenue Q, and playing Sister Mary Robert in the UK tour of Sister Act: The Musical. She also released her debut album, A Girl of Few Words, in 2006. Atherton graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 1999 and has appeared in various West End productions, including Mamma Mia! and Fame.
