David Bergman

Biography

David Bergman was a prominent Israeli theater director and the founder of the Sabatini Theatre. Born in Paris to a Jewish family, he survived the Holocaust by hiding and later immigrated to Palestine, where he studied theater. After serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, Bergman worked in television and theater, including directing the groundbreaking Sabatini Theatre production, "The Cilantro, the Refrain, and the Ashes"
