Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, known as Joe Exotic, is a media personality and businessman who operated the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma from 1999 to 2018. Born in Kansas, he briefly served as a chief of police and opened a pet store, which he sold after his brother's death in 1997. He hosted a reality TV series and even ran as an independent presidential candidate in 2016, showcasing his eccentric persona.
