Chris Stamp

Biography

Christopher Thomas Stamp was a pioneering English record producer and manager known for co-managing The Who and Jimi Hendrix in the 1960s and 1970s. He co-founded Track Records with Kit Lambert, releasing hits like "Purple Haze" and launching The Who's seminal rock opera Tommy. Stamp also transitioned to a career as a psychodrama therapist in New York State.
