Biography

Finn Nielsen is a Danish actor born on April 21, 1937, in Esbjerg. He began his career as a ballet dancer, winning several championships before joining the Odense Teater in the mid-1960s. Nielsen gained recognition for his role as Riff in the company's production of West Side Story, which marked its Scandinavian premiere and impressed Leonard Bernstein, who attended and praised the performance.
