Melina Kanakaredes is a Greek-American actress known for her roles in American primetime television dramas. She originated the role of Dr. Sydney Hansen on Providence and later played Detective Stella Bonasera on CSI: NY. Her performances also included Dr. Lane Hunter on The Resident, as well as roles on Guiding Light and in films like Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Saint Maybe.
