Billie Davis, born Carol Hedges on December 22, 1945, is a British singer known for her hits "Tell Him" (1963) and "I Want You to Be My Baby" (1968). The England native began her career as an engineering secretary, but won a talent contest and cut demo records with the Tornados. With the guidance of impresario Robert Stigwood, she achieved commercial success, paving the way for a notable music career.
