Biography

Ulla Sallert was a Swedish actress and singer who studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music before making her debut on stage in Oscarsteatern's operetta "Serenade" in 1944. She became one of Sweden's foremost operetta and musical singers in the 1950s, starring in Ben Franklin in Paris with a role written specifically for her. Sallert also appeared in films such as Voyage in the Night and Nils Karlsson Pyssling before her passing in 2018.
