Biography

Tony Anholt was a British television actor born in Singapore on January 19, 1941, to an Anglo-Dutch family that later settled in the UK. He began his career as a continuity announcer for the BBC World Service before landing roles in Gerry Anderson's productions, including The Protectors and Space: 1999. Anholt is best known for his portrayal of Charles Frere in the BBC drama series Howards' Way from 1985 to 1990.
